Genetic Divergence of Cultivated Rice Varieties in North Vietnam for Grain Quality Traits Using D2 Cluster Analysis

The study was carried out with twenty-four genotypes of rice during the Spring season, 2020 in Hanoi, Vietnam order to exploit attributes and divergence quality properties from existing cultivars North Vietnam. were characterized based on ten parameters milling, physical appearance physiochemical characters using Mahalanobis D2 statistic. analysis allocated 24 into eight clusters, which cluster I largest 12 genotypes. clustering showed random distribution different clusters indicating that origin release duration not related genetic diversity grain quality.
